How do I search?
Searches may be performed using the Quick Search located at the top of the home page. Quick Search allows you to search by Title, Author or ISBN
Is Your Website Secure?
Yes. By utilizing Secure Socket Layers (SSL) we are able to keep your personal information safe. All your information is encrypted using a secure server for maximum security. Your credit card and billing information cannot be read as it travels to our server.
What’s the difference between abridged and unabridged books?
An abridged version of a book has been edited for the purpose of making the book shorter. (Often the parts edited out are scenery or character description) Unabridged titles offer the complete book, read word-for-word.
How long does it take to get a book once I order it?
Books are mailed within 24 hours of receiving the order. You will be notified if for any reason we are unable to honor that timeframe. Rental books are mailed via First Class mail and should take
2-5 days. Purchased books are mailed via Media Mail which may take 7 – 10 days.
Do you have books on tape? CD? MP3? Downloadable?
We offer books in CD, cassette tape and MP3 formats. When you select the book you’d like, you will be given a choice of the formats we have available.
Is it true that shipping is free?
Yes. We provide the mailer and the postage for shipping your books.

What Credit Cards do you accept?
Online we can accept Visa or Mastercard
When Am I Billed?
If you have signed up for our monthly, unlimited Program, you will be notified of your monthly billing date once your account is established. If you are renting by the week, your credit card will be charged the day the books are mailed to you.
If you purchase a book, your credit card will be charged when the book is mailed to you.
Will I be charged Tax?
6% Sales/Use tax will be charged for Michigan customers
Renting FAQs
How do I rent?
Renting is easy. Just sign up and create a list of books you’d like to listen to. We’ll send you the books from your list. Keep them as long as you want – no due date, no late fee - then return it to us to get a new one from your list.
How many books can I have in a month?
The number of books you listen to, depends on how quickly you listen and return each of the books. Every time you return a book to us, we will send you another.
How Do I return the Rental Book to you?
When you are done listening, replace the book in the box provided. Seal it and drop in nearest mailbox. Postage and our address are already on the box.
Do I get the whole book at once, or is it shipped in parts?
We will send you the complete audiobook in one shipment.
How do you know what books I want to listen to?
When you sign up for our monthly Unlimited Program, you will be asked to create a wish list of up to 5 titles at a time, of books you’d like to listen to.
Once I put the books onto my wish list, are they automatically shipped to me?
Yes. When you return a book to us, we will check your wish list and send you the next title on the list that is available. There may be times when we don’t have a copy in stock at the time, of your first choice. In that case we will move to the next book on your list that is available.
Why has my first choice on my Wish List been skipped?
We encourage you to create your Wish List in order of preference, with your first choice at #1, second choice #2, etc. If the title in your #1 slot is not available when you’re ready for your next book, we will move to the next title on your list. You will receive the first available title.
I sent back my rental book, but never got the next one shipped to me.
Rental books are shipped via First Class mail and may take up to 5 days to receive. If is has been more than 5 days and you have not heard from us that we received your book, please contact us.
How will I know when my book is mailed to me?
We will notify you via email, when we receive a book from you. Your next book will be prepared and shipped within 24 hours. You will also receive email notification when we send the next book to you.
What if my books arrive damaged/unplayable?
Contact us immediately if you have a problem with any book. In most cases, we will send you another one immediately.
How do I cancel my membership?
Log on to ‘My Account’ and click ‘Edit my Account’. Your account will be cancelled at the end of your current 30 day Program.
